The goal was to explore AI benefits, specifically generative ui based in our design system to lower investigation and response time to threats - delivering in a company level initiative of reducing complexity, designing for scalability and protecting the user base. Specifically targeting and simplifying the security analysts intricate workflow they typically face during investigations.

As an analyst the importance of pivoting for clues (and coming back) is at the heart of the investigation process. The conversational design structure, selecting metadata, as well as the history of the investigation allows the analyst to go back and forth, zoom in and zoom out with ease.

Conclusion
I can see a middle ground with "classic design" and generative design where guard rails and guidelines regulate the experience for different use cases, enhancing accessibility, inclusivity and the overall experience and value of design to the business.
However in order to achieve this I see an increment in complexity for system design, artifacts, and deliverables . Perhaps new AI tools could help with these, interesting times for being a designer indeed.
